Amigurumi’s

Amigurumi is the art of knitting or crocheting small, stuffed yarn creatures often in the shape of characters, animals, mini foods, household objects and scenery. It is named from a Japanese word which comes from the two root words ami, meaning crocheted or knittted and nuigurumi which means stuffed doll.

The lace workers of Narasapur produces various amigurumi's which is the all-time favorite characters of kids. The lace work is done using thin cotton threads and these are again woven with thin crochet needles of varying sizes.
